Dignity Center in New Brunswick
In response to the urgent need during the pandemic, the City of New Brunswick is opening a Dignity Center for our most vulnerable population at Memorial Stadium. The stadium is located on Joyce Kilmer Avenue, behind the New Brunswick Middle School 1125 Livingston Avenue. The showers are offered on a "first come first serve" basis weekly. (TUESDAYS & FRIDAYS) Based on the level traffic, we're planning to provide 12 -16 showers a day. There will be 2 sessions per day (8:00am-10:00am & 12:00am-2:00am) Men & Women welcomed. In order to serve as many people as possible, we're asking that guests arrive no later than 9:00am for the morning session & no later than 1:00pm for the afternoon session. Towels, wash clothes, hygiene kits, etc. will be provided. However, we are not in a position to provide transportation to or from the center.
Donations are welcomed.
